Show report

So I went to Växjö. First gig since december 2009. Man, that feels ages ago. Anyhooo, I met up with David and the Kinetics-guys at Kafé Deluxe and went through some brief soundchecking and then we all had dinner. Soundguy for the evening was this really nice guy, "Poppe". He did a great job and really worked with me, adding effects on the fly as the show went and really played along with my set, making it more alive and flying. I really love when a soundguy works like that.

Setlist for the evening:
1. Waking
2. Wings
3. The Ocean
4. Where To From Here
5. Sorry
6. Beauty

The gig went well. I had a lot of tech-stuff like pedals, computer, keyboard, looping-stuff. And it all worked flawlessly. I'm recording loops in realtime with the guitar and it syncs to other pre-arranged loops and sound effects in Ableton Live. It's so cool. I also played some keyboards along with the looped part. I'm really getting a big sound. Just the way I want it. A lot of people came up to me and
said they liked the gig. I am happy. This is just what I needed.

Stay tuned for more Kinetics/Sherman-shows.

Sherman is back.
